I can't even get over how quickly time goes! It's been almost a year since I've blogged and so much has happened. This year my mom finally surrendered and took part in believer's baptism. I prayed nine years for that. She is finally reaping the joy that comes with obedience! Although just as with her salvation, satan was fighting hard for this to not happen. Just a few months before, a very dear friend of mine and her family left the church I go to. I was devastated. After surrendering to the Lord to be more faithful last summer, my convictions were tested with this. I was once again sad, depressed and had one foot out the door. I just couldn't take it anymore! I wanted to leave but God said, "No". I had to stay faithful, but why? A few months later I would find out why faithfulness and being in my place is so important.
