The Finale of the Wedding Day

Labyrinth at the venue I came back to the house so stressed out. As I sat at the kitchen counter to do my make up a much needed song came on that made me weep; thankfully before the makeup went on. I love how God can use a song to speak through at just the right moment. He is amazing! It was Johnny Diaz's song "Breathe". The chorus spoke loudly into my ears just the way God wanted it to. Breathe, just breathe Come and rest at My feet And be, just be Chaos calls but all you really need Is to just breathe. I took the biggest deep breath, wiped my tears away and rested in Jesus the rest of the day. Once we were dressed and ready to go we dashed out the door to the farm.  When we got there I couldn't believe my eyes. The things I had to leave undone because of the rain, were done. Part 1 of the Big Day

When we went to bed Friday night we were hopeful about the weather. We had been watching it for the last fifteen days and biting our nails because RAIN was in the forecast. First it was an 80% chance. Then 50%. Then 20%. The night before there was still a 10% chance for rain but we weren't worried (too much).  The sky was overcast that morning with peaks of sunshine. I can still remember how excited we all were that morning. Of course we had to take the obligatory "morning of" selfie. After morning coffee everything seemed a blur. But not before Ruth opened the front door to this. We hear Ruth saying, Oh OK, thanks!  Not to be left out, the house cat brought Brooke a wedding gift of sorts, haha! Poor mouse. Soon after we packed up the cars and headed out to decorate the venue while the bride went to town for hair and makeup. Here are some pics of the ceremony area.
